Sales Cloud

Salesforce's flagship sales-focused CRM product — manages leads, accounts, opportunities, and the sales pipeline; the most widely deployed Salesforce module.

Sales Cloud is what most people picture when they say "Salesforce." It manages the sales-team workflow: Leads (top of funnel) become Contacts/Accounts (mid funnel) and Opportunities (active deals). Sales Cloud ships with forecasting, territory management, campaign tracking, and dashboards.

Sales Cloud's product positioning vs. competitors: HubSpot is more SMB-friendly with stronger inbound-marketing integration; Microsoft Dynamics 365 wins where Office 365 dependencies are heavy; modern AI-native CRMs (Attio, Bling) target startup teams. Sales Cloud remains the enterprise default because of customizability, ecosystem (AppExchange), and integration depth.

AI extensions to Sales Cloud include: Einstein Lead Scoring, Einstein Opportunity Scoring, Einstein Activity Capture, Agentforce sales agents, and third-party platforms like gptfy that layer additional AI workflows on top.
