Agentforce™ pricing: Flex Credits vs Conversations, with worked costs

Agentforce list prices on salesforce.com: Flex Credits at $0.10 per action, Conversations at $2 each, or an unmetered add-on at $125 per user per month. Below are the prices, the arithmetic, and what each route costs for 50, 200 and 1,000 users.

How much does Agentforce cost?

At list price, an Agentforce action costs $0.10 in Flex Credits, a customer-facing conversation costs $2, and the unmetered add-on for employees costs $125 per user per month. All figures below are Salesforce™ list prices in USD from salesforce.com, checked on 19 Oct 2026. Salesforce says its pricing page "is provided for information purposes only and is subject to change", and negotiated contracts differ.

ItemList priceWhat Salesforce says it includes
Flex Credits$500 per 100,000 creditsPay per action. An Agentforce action uses 20 credits ($0.10) and a voice action 30. Credits are fungible across actions, prompts, translations and voice actions.
Conversations$2 per conversationSalesforce: Conversations "are optimized for external facing customer agents"
Agentforce User License$5 per user per monthRequires Flex Credits. "Access to limited Salesforce CRM objects" and "Metered Agentforce usage for employees"
Agentforce add-ons (Sales, Service, Field Service and Operations)$125 per user per month"Unmetered Agentforce usage for employees", for users who already hold a Sales, Service or Field Service license. Agentforce for Sales is listed at $125/user/month, total cost billed annually.
Agentforce Industries add-ons$150 per user per month"Unmetered Agentforce usage for employees", for Industries Clouds
Max EditionFrom $550 per user per month"Agentforce add-on included" and "2.75M Flex Credits per org per year"
Sales Cloud Core, Advanced, Max (for reference)$195, $395, $550 per user per month, billed annually500K, 1M and 2.75M Flex Credits per org per year respectively. "AI can be added to Core and above."

The credit arithmetic: $500 ÷ 100,000 credits = $0.005 per credit, so a 20-credit action costs $0.10. Salesforce gives the same figure: each action "consumes just 20 Flex Credits ($0.10 per action)" (Salesforce newsroom, May 2025). The Flex Credits Rate Card sets the production multipliers: 20 credits for a standard or custom action, 30 for a voice action, and 2, 4 or 16 for a Salesforce LLM prompt depending on its tier.

What does Agentforce cost for 50, 200 and 1,000 users?

For 200 employees, the extra AI cost at list price runs from $24,000 a year (light metered use) to $300,000 a year (the $125 add-on for Sales, Service or Field Service), on top of the Salesforce CRM licenses you already pay.

Assumptions

  • List prices in USD. Annual cost = monthly cost × 12.
  • Light use = 50 Agentforce actions per user per month. Heavy use = 500. These are GPTfy's assumptions, not Salesforce figures.
  • 1 standard action = 20 Flex Credits = $0.10.
  • Excluded: CRM licenses, Data 360™ credits, voice and prompt-only usage, sandbox testing, implementation, and any Flex Credits included with your edition.
  • GPTfy has a 100-user minimum, so 50 users are priced as 100. GPTfy prices exclude your AI model costs. GPTfy Pro covers prompts; AI Agents, Automation Callout and Apex Invocation start at Enterprise.
RoutePer user per month50 users200 users1,000 users
Agentforce User License + Flex Credits, light use$5 + (50 × $0.10) = $10$6,000$24,000$120,000
Agentforce User License + Flex Credits, heavy use$5 + (500 × $0.10) = $55$33,000$132,000$660,000
Agentforce add-on (unmetered employee use)$125$75,000$300,000$1,500,000
Agentforce Industries add-on$150$90,000$360,000$1,800,000
GPTfy Pro (prompts; no AI Agents)From $20 + your model costs$24,000$48,000$240,000
GPTfy Enterprise (adds AI Agents)$30 + your model costs$36,000$72,000$360,000
GPTfy Unlimited$50 + your model costs$60,000$120,000$600,000

The arithmetic once, for 200 users at heavy use: 200 users × 500 actions × 12 months = 1,200,000 actions. 1,200,000 × 20 credits = 24,000,000 credits, which is 240 packs of 100,000 × $500 = $120,000. Add the User License: 200 × $5 × 12 = $12,000. Total: $132,000 a year.

Flex Credits included with an edition reduce the metered rows a little. At $500 per 100,000, the credits included per org per year are worth $2,500 on Core (500K), $5,000 on Advanced (1M) and $13,750 on Max (2.75M), per Sales Cloud pricing. For 200 heavy users who need 24M credits a year, Max's 2.75M covers about 11%.

When is the $125 add-on cheaper than paying per action?

At 1,200 actions per user per month. Below that, the User License plus Flex Credits costs less at list price; above it, the unmetered add-on costs less. The add-on is for users who already hold a Sales, Service or Field Service license; Salesforce describes it as "unmetered employee agent usage for licensed users".

The formula: $125 = $5 + ($0.10 × actions), so actions = ($125 − $5) ÷ $0.10 = 1,200. Assuming 20 working days a month, that is 60 actions per user per working day. If your users do not need the $5 User License, the break-even is $125 ÷ $0.10 = 1,250 actions.

The add-on is priced per user, not per action. The Agentforce pricing FAQ says that "Conversation-based pricing, Agentforce add-ons and Agentforce 1 Editions are not available" on the PayGo and Pre-Commit buying models, and the Sales Cloud add-ons page notes "Total cost billed annually."

Can I use Flex Credits and Conversations in the same Salesforce org?

No. The Agentforce pricing FAQ says: "No. Flex Credits and Conversations will not be supported in the same org."

Switching from Conversations to Flex Credits means swapping all existing Agentforce Conversation SKUs; Salesforce says to speak with your Account Executive about the process. Because the two models cannot share an org, choose one per org before you build.

Which is cheaper for a customer-facing agent: Conversations or Flex Credits?

At list price, Flex Credits cost less for any conversation that uses fewer than 20 actions. A conversation costs $2, and $2 buys 20 actions at $0.10 each.

Conversations per monthConversations at $2, per yearFlex Credits at 3 actions ($0.30), per year
1,000$24,000$3,600
10,000$240,000$36,000
50,000$1,200,000$180,000

The table assumes 3 standard actions per conversation, which is GPTfy's assumption, not a Salesforce figure. Formula: conversations × 12 × unit price, for example 10,000 × 12 × $0.30 = $36,000. Voice actions use 30 credits ($0.15) instead of 20, so Flex Credits stay cheaper up to 13 voice actions per conversation where voice is billed per action (see the voice note below).

The Agentforce pricing FAQ frames the choice this way: "Conversations offer flat-pricing, while Flex Credits align cost to value." A per-conversation price is easier to forecast when you do not yet know how many actions each conversation will take.

Do unused Flex Credits roll over?

No. The Agentforce pricing FAQ says: "Unused Flex Credits do not roll over into subsequent subscription terms." The rate card adds that Flex Credits "must be used before the Order End Date set forth in the Usage Details table on the Order Form, and no rollover will be permitted."

How much this matters depends on the buying model:

  • Pay-as-you-go: "billed monthly at list price with no minimums."
  • Pre-Commit: a committed baseline, billed monthly in arrears. "If usage falls below commitment, the remaining balance is invoiced."
  • Pre-Purchase: paid upfront, and "usage draws down from your balance over the contract term."

Going over your entitlement is billed at your contracted rate. The pricing FAQ says: "There is no overage penalty. If you exceed your entitlement, your rate is your contracted rate billed monthly in arrears." Salesforce suggests alerts in Digital Wallet to prevent overages.

What does the $5 Agentforce User License include?

Access, not usage. Salesforce lists the Agentforce User License at $5 per user per month "(Requires Flex Credits)", to "Provide Agentforce access to every employee", with "Access to limited Salesforce CRM objects" and "Metered Agentforce usage for employees".

So a User License seat still pays for every action in Flex Credits. The pricing page does not say whether employees who already hold a full Salesforce CRM license also need the User License; ask your Account Executive. The worked costs above include it, which adds $60 per user per year.

What costs sit outside these prices?

Data 360 consumption, sandbox and test usage, voice and prompt usage, and implementation.

  • Data 360: Salesforce's own pricing example "does not include other costs like Data 360 credits or other consumption services", and its calculator says "Salesforce licenses, Data 360 credit cost, and implementation costs not included." Data 360 usage types have their own multipliers on the rate card, for example 3 Flex Credits per million rows for Data 360 Queries at the base tier. For when Data 360 has to be switched on, see Does Agentforce require Data Cloud™?
  • Sandboxes: the rate card meters pre-production environments, "which include sandboxes as well as scratch orgs". A standard action costs 16 credits there instead of 20.
  • Voice and prompts: a voice action is 30 credits ($0.15), though the rate card notes: "For certain customers, the Agentforce Voice Minutes usage type may apply instead." Salesforce LLM prompts are 2, 4 or 16 credits ($0.01, $0.02 or $0.08) by tier.
  • Enterprise agreements: Salesforce also offers the Agentic Enterprise License Agreement (AELA), "a fixed-price, fixed-term agreement with unlimited access to Salesforce consumption services, no overages, and no usage-based billing." Salesforce does not publish a price for it.
  • Change: the rate card says "Usage types, tiers, and associated multipliers may be updated from time to time." Salesforce announced new Core, Advanced and Max editions on 3 Sep 2026 and says "New pricing for Agentforce Industry Editions will go into effect later this fall."

How does GPTfy's pricing compare?

GPTfy is priced per user per month with no consumption meter: Pro from $20, Enterprise $30 and Unlimited $50, with a 100-user minimum. Your AI model costs are billed by your own cloud provider.

GPTfy is a Salesforce-Native Alternative to Agentforce built on bring-your-own-model (BYOM). Per the GPTfy pricing page, model costs "go directly to your existing Azure, AWS, or GCP contract", and GPTfy "never charges per token". Every plan includes unlimited prompts and data masking.

Compare like for like. GPTfy Pro covers prompts; AI Agents, Automation Callout and Apex Invocation start at Enterprise. An Agentforce action is agent work, so the table below compares Agentforce with GPTfy Enterprise.

Actions per user per monthAgentforce User License + Flex CreditsAgentforce add-onGPTfy Enterprise (before model costs)
50$10$125$30
250$30$125$30
500$55$125$30
1,200$125$125$30

Break-even: GPTfy Enterprise equals the User License plus Flex Credits at 250 actions per user per month ($5 + 250 × $0.10 = $30), or 12.5 per working day over 20 working days. This excludes your model costs and assumes at least 100 users. Agentforce's metered price already includes the model: the rate card prices Salesforce-enabled LLM prompts in Flex Credits. GPTfy's price does not include the model.

Where metered Agentforce costs less: at light use. At 50 actions per user per month, the User License plus Flex Credits is $10 per user per month at list price, a third of GPTfy Enterprise before model costs. Below 100 users, GPTfy's minimum also raises the effective price: 50 users on Enterprise cost the same $36,000 a year as 100.

Where GPTfy's own charge is lower, before your model costs: against the unmetered add-on ($125 per user per month, against $30 for Enterprise or $50 for Unlimited), and at heavy metered use ($55 at 500 actions, against $30 for Enterprise). Add your model provider's bill before comparing, because it scales with usage. GPTfy's own charge does not change with usage volume, so there is no credit balance to forecast or lose at term end.

Salesforce says its pricing is for information purposes only and subject to change.

No. Salesforce says Flex Credits and Conversations will not be supported in the same org. Switching from Conversations to Flex Credits means swapping all existing Agentforce Conversation SKUs; Salesforce says to speak with your Account Executive about the process.

No. Salesforce says unused Flex Credits do not roll over into subsequent subscription terms. Usage above your entitlement is billed at your contracted rate, monthly in arrears.

Salesforce lists it at $5 per user per month for company-wide employee access to Agentforce, with access to limited Salesforce CRM objects and metered usage. It requires Flex Credits, so every action is still paid for in credits.

Per user per month with no consumption meter: Pro from $20, Enterprise $30 and Unlimited $50, with a 100-user minimum, as listed on gptfy.ai/pricing. AI model costs go to your own Azure, AWS or GCP contract. Pro covers prompts; AI Agents start at the Enterprise plan ($30), which equals the Agentforce User License plus Flex Credits at 250 actions per user per month. Below that, metered Agentforce costs less before model costs, and Agentforce's metered price already includes the model.
