Users use the GPTfy Console(Lightning component) to interact with the GPTfy app from Salesforce AppExchange. Before proceeding with the configuration, ensure that a Data Context Mapping and an active Prompt exist for the object where GPTfy Console is being added.
Configuration Steps
Step 1: Open any Salesforce Record.
- Log in to your Salesforce org.
- Navigate to any Salesforce record. For Example, you can open an account record.
Step 2: Access the Lightning Page Editor
- Click on the gear icon located in the upper-right corner of the page.
- From the dropdown menu, select “Edit Page.” This action will launch the Lightning Page Editor.
Step 3: Add GPTfy Console
- In the Page Editor, on the left-hand side, locate the custom component named “GPTfy Console”.
- Drag and drop the “GPTfy Console” onto the details section of the page.
Step 4: Configure GPTfy Console
- Ensure that the Data Context Mapping and active prompt for the object have been created beforehand.
Step 5: Activate and Set as Org-Wide Default
- After adding the GPTfy Console, click on the “Activate” button located in the top-right corner of the Lightning Page Editor.
- A prompt will appear to confirm the activation. Click on “Activate” to proceed.
- In the same prompt, enable the option to set the GPTfy Console as the org-wide default.
- Click on “Save” to apply the changes.
Step 6: Verify Configuration
- Save the page by clicking on the save icon located at the top of the Lightning Page Editor.
- To exit the editor, click on the back arrow button.
- The GPTfy Console should now be visible at the top of the details section of the record page.
