GPTfy provides comprehensive access for admin users, while standard users have limited access capabilities. Admin users can fully utilize all features of GPTfy, including accessing all tiles from the cockpit to perform any necessary actions.

  • Assign ‘GPTfy User’ permission to the Standard user

Standard users, after logging into the organization, will not have direct access to the GPTfy application. However, they can run prompts from the record details page via the console.

The generated response and the Security Audit Record number will be visible on the console, but standard users will not be able to navigate directly to the Security Audit Record.

The Security Audit Record number will appear as plain text, rather than a hyperlink.

Prompt Availability for Standard users

The prompt contains the section Prompt Availability and the field is ‘Profile’ which allows to run the prompt for specific users as mentioned in the Profile multi-select picklist.

It will remain hidden from users with other profiles. If the picklist is empty then all users can see and run the prompt.

In the above screenshot shows the prompt is available only for Standard users.

Adding GPTfy User

The administrator must add the user to the user list in the Manage License if the user wishes to execute the prompts.

  • Go to Installed Packages -> Manage Licenses
  • Click on the ‘Add Users’ button

By adding the user here, the Admin can give access to the standard user to execute the Prompts

Invoking GPTfy via Email Plugins

Gmail Plugin: Standard users can invoke prompts using the Gmail plugin. The full response will be displayed on the console.

However, similar to other access methods, users cannot navigate to the Security Audit Record page, as the Security Audit Record number will be presented as plain text rather than a hyperlink.

Outlook Plugin: Standard users can also run prompts using the Outlook plugin.

The response will be displayed on the console, but users will not be able to access the Security Audit Record page directly, as the Security Audit Record number will be shown as plain text, not as a hyperlink.
